The 2025 durum and hard red spring wheat regional crop quality reports are now available. During harvest, samples of hard red spring wheat and durum are collected and analyzed at the wheat quality labs at North Dakota State University.  The samples are analyzed for kernel quality and end-use properties. Samples are combined according to specific regions and protein levels, and the combined samples (composites) are milled into semolina or flour, and analyzed for bread and past
