Greg Svenningsen, elected in 2009, is currently serving his third term on the Wheat Commission representing wheat growers in the southeastern part of ND. He is serving his first year as chairman.
Greg represents the Commission at U.S. Wheat Associates and Wheat Foods Council.
Greg is also serving as chairman of the Dakota Plains Co-op board; as a council member of the Zion Lutheran Church in rural Green Township of Barnes County and a member of the North Dakota Farmers Union.
He and his wife, Marcy, farm west of Valley City where they produce wheat, corn, soybeans, oats and alfalfa and they have a cow/calf operation. The couple have two married children and five grandchildren.
