Spring and Durum Wheat Weather and Market Outlook Webinars

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) will be hosting two webinars regarding spring and durum wheat market outlook. The webinars will be held on Thursday, March 29 and Wednesday April 4 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
Joe Victor, MGEX Business Development Specialist, will address both spring and durum wheat markets, their similarities, protein basis spreads and correlations between their respective cash markets and the MGEX North American Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) futures contract.
Joining Joe on March 29 will be Darin Newsom, Senior Analyst from DTN. Darin will break down the spring wheat market to its basic factors and discuss hedging strategies for the various market participants. Bryce Anderson, Senior Ag Meteorologist from DTN, will join Joe on April 4 to discuss weather expectations for the spring wheat growing areas in the U.S. and Canada and the potential affects on marketing strategies throughout the growing season.
