Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients
Makes 36 cookies

½ cup butter
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
2¼ cups flour
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
In medium bowl with electric mixer, cream together butter and brown sugar. Add egg and beat. Add banana and mix. Stir together salt, soda, baking powder and flour. Add to banana mixture and beat until combined. Mix in vanilla and chocolate chips. Dough will be soft.

Place about 1½ tablespoons dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375-degree oven about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to cooling rack.
