Breakfast Couscous

2 cups hot 1% milk
1 cup couscous
1 teaspoon butter (optional)

Add couscous to hot milk and butter, cover and let stand 5 minutes. Add maple syrup, brown sugar, honey, nuts, dried or fresh fruits as additional flavor options.
