Pesto Sauce

cup olive oil
1 cups fresh basil leaves
2 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
2 tablespoons pine nuts (almonds may be used)
cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons cream, optional

Place oil, basil, garlic, nuts and cheese in a blender or food processor and process until creamy. Add cream, if desired, and process another 10 seconds.

Serve with pasta.
