Oriental Pasta Salad

2 cups rotini
1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots
2 cups broccoli florets
1 red pepper, cut in thin strips
1/4 cup sliced green onions
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
3-ounce package Oriental noodles with flavor packet
1 tablespoon sesame seed, toasted*

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; rinse with cold water and drain thoroughly.

Combine pasta carrots, broccoli, red pepper and onion. In small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, sugar and oriental flavor packet; blend well. Pour over pasta mixture, toss to coat. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.

Just before serving, break dried noodles into pieces and add to pasta mixture. Add sesame seeds and serve.

*To toast sesame seeds, bake at 350 degrees for 2 to 5 minutes or until light, golden brown, stirring once during cooking.
