Apple Pull Aparts

Ingredients
24 frozen dough dinner rolls (32 ounces) *
1 cup finely chopped apple
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup nuts, optional
3 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1/3 cup white sugar


Instructions
Thaw dough until pieces can be flattened. Coat bundt pan or 2 loaf pans with non-stick spray. Sprinkle lemon juice over chopped apples. Mix brown sugar, nuts and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon with apples; set aside. Mix 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon with white sugar in flat bowl.

Flatten each dinner roll, fill with 1 teaspoon apple mixture and seal edges; roll in melted butter, then in cinnamon-sugar. Place in pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until dough doubles, about 1 hour. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees covering with foil the last 10 minutes to prevent over-browning. Invert pan immediately after baking.

*Two 1-pound loaves may be used instead. Thaw and cut each loaf into 12 pieces.
