|Super Brown Bread|

|2 cups warm water (105-115 degrees)
2 packages active dry yeast
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup molasses
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 1/2 - 3 cups bread flour, divided
|In large bowl, combine water and yeast. Let stand until dissolved, about 5 minutes. Add brown sugar, oil, molasses, salt, wheat germ, oats, whole wheat flour and 1 cup bread flour. Beat until smooth. Add additional bread flour to make a soft dough.
Knead for 10 minutes or until smooth. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top; cover and let rise until double.
Form into two loaves; place in 8 x 4 inch greased pan and let rise until double. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes and 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
