Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoon water
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups oatmeal
12 ounces chocolate chips


Instructions
Cream shortening and sugars; add egg, water and vanilla. Mix and add flour, soda, cocoa, salt and oatmeal. Stir until mixed and add chocolate chips.

Using about 1 tablespoons of mixture, drop onto ungreased baking sheet, pinching dough slightly so it holds together. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until set. Remove carefully and let cool on rack. Makes 5 dozen.
