|1 pound frozen dough, thawed and risen
1 teaspoon oil
4 ounces fresh mushrooms
1/2 red pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon oregano
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
|Sauté mushrooms and red peppers in oil. Set aside. Brown ground beef until cooked and drain thoroughly. Roll dough into a 15 x 10-inch rectangle. Spread on ground beef to one inch from edges. Layer with mushroom-red pepper mixture. Sprinkle on cheeses. Roll starting at long edge. Place stromboli in center of baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, keeping seam side down and tucking ends under.
Cut slits into top of stromboli. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly before serving.
