Salami Stromboli
Recipe courtesy North Dakota Wheat Commission

1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed and risen
1 1/2 tablespoons prepared mustard
3/4 pound lean ground beef, browned and drained
6 slices hard salami
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
vegetable oil
oregano to taste

Roll dough into a 15x10-inch rectangle. Spread one-half of the long side of the rectangle with mustard to within 1/2 inch of edge. Over mustard, layer salami, beef and mozzarella. Fold plain half of dough over filling and seal ends well. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet coated with non-stick spray. Brush lightly with oil and sprinkle with oregano. With sharp knife, cut 5 steam vents in top of roll. Bake at 375F for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Cut into slices and serve.
