|1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed but cold
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
|Cut loaf into 12 slices; cut each slice into four pieces. In a medium-size bowl, mix egg, butter, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Add a few pieces of dough at a time, coating all sides; remove pieces with a slotted spoon and place in an 8 x 3 x 3 inch pan coated with non-stick spray. Continue until all pieces are coated. Pour rest of egg mixture over dough pieces.
Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
