Double Wheat Waffles

2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup wheat germ
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup margarine, melted

Beat eggs until frothy; beat in remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour
batter onto hot waffle iron. Bake about 5 minutes or

until steaming stops.

Makes about eight 7-inch waffles.
