Public Information
The North Dakota Wheat Commission strives to inform the state's wheat producers and other stakeholders about: 1) programs conducted in their behalf, 2) challenges and opportunities in the wheat production industry, and 3) factors that influence supply and demand.
Prime communication vehicles include the Dakota Gold newsletter (issued six times a year), an annual report, and frequent news releases. All of these information pieces are posted on this web site. Additionally, the Commission provides speakers for meetings upon request and coordinates information conferences for producers such as the Annual Crop Outlook Forum held in Minot each November and an annual meeting for county representatives held each winter.
